Do Something to Increase Your Income

There is absolutely no doubt that life has become harder for most people. Many are unemployed and for those who do have jobs, salaries are not sufficient to cover all our expenses comfortably. Consumers have had to endure above inflation increases in electricity, water and rates, rising food prices, increases in fuel prices, e-tolls and higher interest rates. Income tax has also been increased during these economically tough times.

There is uncertainty about the future not only in South Africa but also globally, which has given rise to negative sentiment across the world. The message is that tough times are here for some time still to come. What to do?

We need to confront reality. If you are in a job and you can’t pay your bills, you can borrow but all debt comes at a cost and has to be repaid. Once you are in debt spiral, that situation becomes a trap which is difficult to extricate yourself from and tends to be tied to you for long periods of your life.

If you are already in debt you need to actively find a way to get out of the situation.

Do something:

If you do nothing, nothing will happen. Look around you, there are still many people who are doing well and enjoying their money. Don’t you want to become one of these wealthy people?

There are opportunities to earn additional income. What are your choices?

1. You carry on with your employment but we will help you to start a business which may initially cost you some money but will in the medium term start bringing in additional income.

2. If you have access to capital you may wish to resign and start your own business.

3. If starting your own business does not appeal to you and you wish to move up the ladder then the best thing you can do is educate yourself. This is more of a long term approach but if you choose the right career path you can do very well for yourself and your family.

You have a choice- Do nothing and nothing will happen or do something and make it happen.

You can take the first step by educating yourself with Academy of Wealth’s finance courses. Visit our courses page to see what we have on offer, or contact us at jon@financialpassport.co.za for advice on the perfect product for you.
